Ferdy Eight and Bat Spiders

 Allie: "Mama, I pay ferdy eight!"

Jake: "Mom! Come watch us play forty eight!"

 I'm not sure what "forty eight" is -

other than Allie's favorite number,

but they sure had fun playing it Tuesday

while "waitin' on da hurry-cane".

 And then Jake found a "bat spider".
