Is there a better way to celebrate your 3rd birthday
than to do so with your best bud?
Yeah - Jake and Peyton didn't think so either!
So that's what they did.
They celebrated their 3rd birthdays together
at the Ag Museum last Saturday.

After today's temps, I wish we had waited a week!
Oh well, we knew it would be cold so we went prepared.

"Ear hats" and Carhartt kept two of my boys warm.
I don't know if Austin is truly immune to the elements
or if it's just a teenage boy thing, but he refuses to wear a coat!

The last time we were at the Ag, we rode the carousel.
When I told Jake we were riding horses at his party, he asked to ride the purple one.
When I explained that these were REAL horses and not the carousel,
he asked, "Not stuffed ones?".

He loved riding the 'non-stuffed' horses!
And I'm pretty sure this horse's name was not Bullseye,
but please don't tell Jake....

THE BIRTHDAY BOYS!

Most of you know that Jake has a not-so-healthy obsession with trains,
so there was no way we were passing up a train ride!

And, here are a few pics of Jake 'dirtin' after nap when it warmed
up to a whopping 40 degrees!
