'Tis the Season

The 7th Grade Band had their first concert this week.
Austin played the snare drum, bass drum and xylophone (I've been told not to call it a xylophone, but I don't speak German so it's still a xylophone to me.).
He said he messed up several times, but I didn't hear it.
I thought they did great!

I got a new camera lens (early Christmas for me!),
but Austin was still too far away to get a really clear picture.

Someone else got an early Christmas present too!
Look real close and you might see it.

That's right! Allie cut her first tooth Sunday (the 5th)!

We have been talking about Santa for months now.
Jake gets so excited about everything Christmas!
But going to see Santa yesterday was a disaster!

Jake saw a train set he wanted and DID NOT like it when I told him 'no'!
He calmed down just in time to see Santa,
and this was his reaction...

He didn't want anything to do with the man -
especially when he realized he wasn't getting any toys right then!
Poor thing.
He just doesn't understand.
Better luck next year I guess.
