Allie's Special Day

Yesterday was Allie's Special Day
There were a few special people that couldn't make it, but Allie enjoyed her day in the spotlight anyway.
She's such a sweet "subject" to photograph.....
until she acts like this!
But that didn't last long.
She's wearing the same Christening gown that my aunt made for Austin (and Jake wore it too).
Each of their names are stitched on the bottom ruffle along with their birthdates and Christening dates.
One day (in, like, 15 years) I hope to start adding some grandchildren's names.
MeMe and I helped a lady at the market design her little bracelet.
Isn't it so sweet!
Maybe now that she has some bling, people will stop calling her a boy!
Brother Keith has baptized all of us, I think.
I'll have to double check that, but I know he has me and the kids.
I think that made the day even more special. It's not often that a preacher (or a family) are in the same place long enough to have that connection.

Jake didn't have his signature pink sunglasses with him so he borrowed MeMe's for the picture.
I don't know what it is about glasses, but he thinks he has to at least be holding a pair at all times!

Sooo sweet! Love her dress! Biting issue..well, when she would bite, I would just say "no" very sternly and take her off of me. Simple enough, right? Took some time and she still bites every now and then, but overall, much better.
