Thes Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

**Disclaimer** I am not responsible for any retinal bleeding you may have after looking at all the pictures that follow. Continue at your own risk.

I may have mentioned this a time or two, but Jake loves to go. Anywhere outside the house is his favorite place to be.
We usually head to the Belhaven Market on Saturdays, but about a month ago (since MeMe was not at the market) we decided to check out our local market in Clinton. Austin was with a friend and Terry was off doing whatever he does on Saturdays - although, he did surprise us and show up to hang out a few minutes at the market.
The Clinton Market is in the old Brick Street area of Clinton. It's great for kids like Jake because they block off the street and the kids can just go!

Here's Jake enjoying some bubbles...

and checking out the "box" in front of one of the shops.

(Please excuse the over sized shirt and baggy pants. I usually dress him a little bit better. Just be glad you can't see the lady taking the pictures! Whoa!)
The weather was so nice that we didn't want to go home after the market. A few blocks over is a nice little park - probably the oldest in Clinton. This is our new favorite place!
It's shaded, not crowded and everything is just the right size for little ones! We've been back one other time and plan to go many more times!
First stop - the horse
Then - the swinging bridge

I think he went down the slide 100 times!

Next up - the gugle (aka - the turtle)

Quite fascinated with the train....

Where's Jake?

And, finally, a quick driving lesson before heading home.

In the morning we're headed down to Baton Rouge for Tay-Tay's 2 birthday! I can't believe she's turning two already...and Jake is right behind her!
Hopefully I will be able to sneak a few pictures of Austin while we're there.....
Have a great weekend!
