Biscuit Bakin' Buddy

Jake has been a little under the weather the past couple of days -
he woke up with fever yesterday (and during the night last night).
So, when he requested biscuits this morning, I was happy to oblige.
And when he wanted to help,
I told him to pull up a chair!
(I needed to sweep anyway, so what's a little flour on the floor?)

Somehow, Jake's face and clothes were covered in flour before he even got up to the table....
He was so proud of himself for making biscuits.
He couldn't wait for the timer to go off, so he could eat one!
But while he waited, he had one more request -
he wanted to play with the flour and extra piece of dough.
Why not!
I even gave him some dirt (cinnamon/sugar) and rocks (jellybeans) to go along with it.
And what did we do with the extra piece of dough that was scooped by the working trucks and trampled by dinosaurs?
Duh! We made a cinnamon twist and ate it!
Well, Jake ate it - I didn't know what else those dinosaurs might have stepped in....

And before anyone says anything - I know he needs a haircut.
That's on the schedule for tomorrow. :)
