Most recently, they were asked to do the flag ceremony for Clinton's Veterans Program. Of the four troops in Clinton, ours was picked. I guess that says something about our boys and their "Scout Spirit".
Here are a few pictures from that night.....

Two weekends ago, the boys were joined by real life archeologists in Olde Towne Clinton for an archeological dig.
Among the items found were: glass, charcoal, tile and pigs teeth - three to be exact. The boys were divided into three groups and Austin's group was apparently digging in an old fire pit. They found the three pigs teeth but were only able to dig up two because one was in the wall of their dig area. Their group also had the largest amount of charcoal.

They were actually digging in someone's yard for this - and yes, they had permission.
Jake loved the man's dogs. He climbed on them most of the morning.
When he wasn't climbing on the dogs, he was doing his own digging. By the time we got home there was dirt in places that I didn't know dirt could get! I didn't complain too much because he was very well behaved and didn't make me chase him too much.

The only time I really had to correct/discipline him in any way was when he wanted to continue eating his apple after playing soccer with it.
But a little dirt never hurt anyone, right?
No, he's not waving. He's piling the dirt on his legs. Yay!
