Firetrucks and Hayrides

Halloween Fun - Round Three

We skipped Trick-or-Treating, but instead went to another carnival. Thanks again to Stacy (Peyton's mom), I have a pictures from the night - but we didn't get any of the big boys.

It has been confirmed that Jake is slightly obsessed with hayrides and firetrucks. The Firemen at the carnival Saturday are the same ones from Wednesday night and, surprisingly, they remembered Peyton and Jake. I wonder if it has anything to do with us having to pry the boys off the truck Wednesday night?

Jake and Peyton both enjoyed getting (and eating) candy, but they would have been just fine checking out the firetruck and riding the hayride all night. I think the only thing that would have made it better would have been a hayride ON the firetruck.

Here's Peyton, Mr. Fireman, Jake and Terry on the front of the truck. I know you can't tell it by this picture but Jake really does love the firetruck - he just didn't want Terry to leave him up there by himself.

Jake trying to figure out the switches......

Mamas and babies on the hayride. Again, you can't tell from this picture but the hayride was a BIG hit! But for some reason, Jake only wanted to face me while on it.
