Trunk-or-Treat

We started our Halloween fun a little early.

Last night, we went with some friends to their church's "Trunk-or-Treat". We (well, the boys) had lots of fun! My back is not feeling too great today, but I'll manage.

Our better camera was not charged so I took the stand-by and it died after taking just a few pictures. These (with the exception of the blurred one) were taken by Peyton's mom.

Jake was sticking close to Austin while Joshua was close by in his "Darth Maul" costume.
I bet that cute little Super Man could have taken him on if he wanted to but he was too into eating his "bwew ships". (He calls chips "ships", and they were in a blue bag...so, bwew ships it is!)

Jake and Peyton.
Peyton is not mad - he crinkles his face up when you tell him to smile.
Jake really liked the games and he quickly caught on to the "treat" part of Trunk-or-Treat.
It was really pretty simple - toss some bean bags and get a handful of candy.
Jake cheated a bit on the games, but he's cute so I guess it's ok.
See what I mean - he would walk right up to the hole and shove the bean bags in.....

Tonight, we're going to The Haunting of Old Town...if it doesn't rain.....
