An update that's long past due...

Currently we are all a bit under the weather. I actually just got back from the doctor and have Bronchitis and Sinusitis. I have been having sinus stuff on and off since Christmas and decided it was time to consult a professional. Terry has also been sick off and on for a while and is taking antibiotics now. Austin has had the sniffles for a couple of days and Jake has his regular runny nose and cough. He was wheezing earlier this week, but seems to be getting better without having to go to the doctor. We have to try to keep him well for a couple more weeks so we can have his adenoids taken out. Hopefully this will help out with all his sicknesses (Is that a word?). We'll see.
Aside from being a bit sick, everything else is good. I though things would have slowed down for us after the holidays and Jake's birthday...boy was I wrong! We have been going non-stop! Thank the good Lord, we don't have anything going on this weekend, but I doubt that means we'll get much rest. If the weather is nice, I'm sure we'll be outside. Jake loooooves to go outside. He loves having the freedom to just go. Nobody shuts a door when he tries to go somewhere he shouldn't. There's no cords to pull him away from. He had the best time last Sunday just relaxin in his wagon while I pulled him around the neighborhood. Man, was that a workout!
Oh! I just remembered we do have plans for this weekend. Well, Terry and Austin do. They have to get a car ready for the Pinewood Derby Race next weekend. Fun!
Austin will get his Arrow of Light Award on the 24th. That is the highest level/award in Cub Scouts. And on the 24th of next month, he will bridge up to Boy Scouts. I will certainly post some pictures of all that.

So, until next time....

Take care and have a Happy Valentine's Day!
