About a month ago, Austin was given the opportunity to do an extra credit project (in a class he already has a 98 in). Well, WE finally started on it Monday night and it was due TODAY!!!! Four late nights later, and much "assistance" from me...WE successfully built a model of the Brooklyn Bridge....
Terry had the idea to make it from an old pizza box. Austin and I were thinking we needed to make a trip to Home Depot for plywood, nails, saw...the works. WE were actually able to make the bridge with things at the house, minus the .25 tube of Elmer's Glue. I guess being in Cub Scouts has paid off. We've learned to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
