Updates...

Sorry folks. I know it's been a while. I don't promise to be any better, but I promise to try...

Austin is out of school this week for Thanksgiving, and that make our mornings (and evenings) a little crazier. Today, he's with a friend playing big brother to her kids. She called Saturday because her little boy (Shade) wanted Big Austin to come play with him while they are out of school. Big Austin is five years older than Shade and 71/2 years older than Shade's little sis, Saylor. He is such a good sport when it comes to playing with them. Shade likes having Big Austin over because he gets to play the role of little brother for a day.

Mr. Jake is still a bit under the weather. I feel like he's always got a cold or something going on. he started running fever Wednesday night, so Terry stayed home with him Thursday morning and I took off at noon to go to the Dr. Of course, they said it was just a virus since he was already on antibiotics. The fever was down a little Friday, so he went on to daycare but by 5:00 it was back up to 101.9. Saturday, we were back at the doctor's office with possible ear infection. Ear were clear, but he is cutting a tooth (tooth #4) and had some sinus drainage/pressure causing him to cry and slap his ears. Sunday, he started coughing and will probably be back on antibiotics before the week is up, but for now, I'm treating it with breathing treatments. He is such a big boy when he has to do his treatments. He even holds the mouthpiece in his mouth on his own!
Our sweet cousin Tatum has a pre-op appointment today with the ENT. She'll be getting tubes put in and her adenoids taken out on Monday. Please say a little prayer for her. We hope this will help with her ears...she's really had a tough time.

Here's a pic of poor Jake when he was home sick last week. He ate his whole lunch laying down like this.
Here's the pouty face...it's cuter when you can "hear" him make this face.
And here are some pics of the boys after church yesterday.
