Well, our weekend didn't quite go as planned...
Jake started running fever Friday afternoon, so we started Saturday off in the doctor's office. Instead of going to The Ag Museum as planned, we went shopping! Austin got some shorts and Jake picked out a couple a hoodies for the winter. After that, we heading to Target to stock up on diapers, wipes and formula...$128 later (I think Austin snuck some clothes and candy in the buggy) we headed home. Jake and I both took a two hour nap and felt great afterwards. Jake has not had fever since then. Since Jake was feeling so well, we decide to keep our plans for the evening...so off to Bright Lights, Belhaven Nights we go! Jake had so much fun listening and dancing to the music, but he was upset that the train didn't make it. Austin and his friend, Daniel, ran around like crazy kids...i didn't see them for the whole 2 1/2 hours we were there (except when they needed $$$).
After all the fun from Saturday, we were pretty pooped on Sunday...so, on the seventh day, we rested.
